This morning God brought a vision/thought to my mind that I wanted to share with all of you. At the beginning of this new 2011 year our Music Minister who is a wonderful Prophetic, only “wants what God wants”, man said to us as a church, ‘this is a birth year for you’. He also said (paraphrasing) ’2010 was like the pregnancy and now 2011 will be the birth.’ What is your baby? Is it a new business? Is it graduating from School? Is it a new job? Is it Restoration of a broken relationship you have been praying for?
So since this year is a “birth year”… our “baby” was just born the very end of December and it really is only just a bit over 2 months old. Sometimes “impatience” wants to sneak in and “steal” our joy….BUT….. never the less, babies take TIME to grow. Remember your baby it is not full grown 2 months after its born. And if you think about it, it really won’t be able to even walk until its about 10 to 12 months old. During this time we love it, we feed it, we change it, we nurture it, we teach it, we help it, we encourage it, etc. All that is to say, your baby will grow, and it is going to grow, because that is what baby’s do. BUT, it will grow stronger (and healthier) when we love it, when we feed it, when we nurture it, when we encourage it, when we teach it. How often have we just sat around “wishing our babies would grow”? No, we don’t do that. We play with them, we love them, we feed them, we ENJOY them, we tickle them, we nurture them, etc. This is what we need to do with our spiritual babies God has birthed us this year. Take care of and ENJOY what God has given you and remember to use and practice the
*patience the Holy Spirit has given you because it takes time for “our babies” to grow.
